When I worked at a larger company, as an Apple Event approached work conversation would take second place to speculation about what Apple would announce. Lunch time conversation was consumed with a battle of predictions and the white board in front of my office became the location for people to publicly make their claims. After the event we would gather around the white board and collectively determine who did the best.

I'm sure I'm not unique in this tradition among Apple fans, so in an effort to support this fun, I have created the Prediction Score Card. Download it, print it out and take it to lunch. Amaze friends with your understanding and sophisticated analysis of current reports! Show your strength of judgment in the face of swirling uncertainty!

Have some fun.

P.S. If I have missed a rumor, please let me know and I'll add it, but be quick, Wednesday is not that far away.

Great idea! Thanks for doing this.
Also, while this is all in fun, may I suggest valuing wrong answers at -1? Players would be dissuaded from voting Yes for more than one prediction of the device's name, for example.

Seems like a good idea to me. Give it a try with your friends. The rules are not set in stone. Enjoy!

I would add "No Tablet but Steve Jobs makes fun of the Tablet rumors."

How about "Apple releases Aperture 3."???

So how does one add their own predictions to Prediction app? I thought that's what you meant in the description when you wrote: "Make your own predictions and share them with others." I was hoping I could add a few more predictions to the ones already listed in the app.

Well, maybe that will be a feature in 2.0! I love the app so far! Great idea!

You really need to offer Prediction in an ad-supported scheme. I've tried to "sell" it to some people and they can't fully understand what it does, so they won't pay for it without trying it.

Maybe a "lite" version with some limits?

Also see Apple Predictions, a free web site based on a similar idea.

Scored 28.
